Will a Kubota 7500, R4 tires, hydro xmisison handle a Landpride RBT 3572, 6 ft, 461 lb, rear blade. Need to maintain 700+ ft gravel road & ditch, + snow removal. I think its way too big but want side plates, rear guage wheel, tilt, & offset, and smallest Landpride is a RBT 3572. Landpride will not make a custom 4 or 5 ft blade for me with side plates. Was hoping they'd trim a 6 footer. Any thoughts?

I think the 6' is too big and heavy. You could always trim off the sides yourself but I would hate to do that to a new tool like that. If you were using it for snow I would maybe try it but with gravel, your traction on gravel along with the weight of the gravel will be hard. I have a 5' wodds on my 7500 and while moving gravel the wasnt quite to its limit but close. Alot will have to do with the weight of the blade also. In conclusion, I would not go above 5' for gravel work. ....

B/Ski, does LandPride offer a rear blade with gauge wheels and all the features you listed? If so is there a web picture?
If you can employ a wheeled blade you might be able to go a size bigger.
It isn't so much the weight as a heavy duty 4 foot box scraper probably weighs as much as a 6 foot blade. It is the amount of material the blade accumulates while operating that overpowers the traction of your tractor.
My recent experience with building a drag scraper has shown that it is much easier on the tractor to pull a full drag scraper that it is to operate the same equipment on the three point hitch. ....

blewandowski, have you looked at one of these yet? I have about 2,000 of driveway that I maintain with a Land Pride 1584 landscaping rake. The model in the link below should work well for you and also provide you with a more versatile implement. The 1584 is a good bit heavier around 300 lbs. Take a look and see what you think. ....
